Valentines Day, known as a day to celebrate LOVE or a day to celebrate SAD (single awareness day), is just around the corner. With this holiday being celebrated across the world in annual tradition, many musical artists have made merchandise and songs in preparation for the day. Laufey, known for her eccentric jazz style and beautiful voice, is no exception. The song Valentine by Laufey was pressed fittingly onto a pink heart shaped vinyl and was available for sale, limited to 5000 units globally; the records are expected to arrive by Valentines Day.
The vinyl released across different retailers and was very quick to sell out with a retail ranging from 30-40 dollars. Aftermarket sales are at over 100 dollars and may rise as the beloved day looms closer and closer. We notified our members ahead of the release to be on the lookout, and alongside we also had monitors that alerted members right as the drop went live.
