With the release of Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions, there has been a lot of hype surrounding this new set. Featuring new art and a beautiful style, this set has collectors around the world looking in awe at cards from this set. Centered around Eevee and its evolutions, the main cards from the set are absolutely stunning and feature gem and mosaic themed art, and many are buying up the new set in hopes of getting a good pull. Releasing on Pokémon Center as well as the main TCG retailers, it was absolute chaos both online and in-store. People were getting into fights at retailers after waiting outside for many hours, paralleling this the websites for these retailers were crashing and made it difficult to buy the set as well.
Overall if you got your hands on this you should consider yourself lucky, however IHOF members didn’t need as much luck as we provided help to our members with monitors and early links to the product as soon as it released. Many members secured a good amount of sealed sets (Elite Trainer Boxes, booster boxes, poster collections, etc.) and were able to either flip for profit or enjoy opening the sets for the chase.
