“On Wednesdays, We wear pink!” Known as iconic and a staple in pop culture, the movie Mean Girls collaborated with Bratz dolls for the first time to bring forth a collection of three dolls starring the main characters from the movie. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the movie, the first doll of the collection, Cady Heron, was released on October 3rd and it was quite the release. Exclusive information was provided ahead of time for our members and at 8AM PST, members rushed to the finish line to purchase the doll. Many were successful with the resources provided and some members were able to purchase up to 20-30 dolls EACH on the drop! Collectors and resellers in our community were able to obtain with ease! Here is a sneak peak of just one members haul!
Following the release, secondary prices began to skyrocket as supply was no where near enough to meet the demand. On average, members sold their Cady Heron dolls anywhere from $300 to $400 each. Retail was only $60! Members were warned following the success of the Cady Heron doll that the next doll in line, Regina, would receive a lot more attention from a larger influx of resellers and the secondary price would not retain as well as Cady. Come October 17th, members still managed their way through the queue and captchas to secure a whole new inventory of the Regina dolls! The Regina doll is selling for an average of $200 each, which is not as good as the Cady Heron doll but still nice profits!
